Well, Nokia I agree is formidable; but OS-X on a phone? Nope!
Samsung; Great hardware/Lackluster marketing... not scary
Motorola: Better Marketing/Lackluster Hardware (my RAZR is WeAk!) - Bye Bye!
Palm/Treo; Friendly but antiquated OS; Cumbersome formfactor; just sold 25% stake to equity group; nearly dead now!
IF Apple's iPhone takes just 10% of the smart phone segment over 2-3 years, that's a MAMMOTH bully move into a market almost overnight!
But they need a better network /or AT&T to improve theirs QUICK!
And they need to make each succeeding iPhone version more amazing, and fast, to justify that $500-600 price!
But if they only meet their goals, they pump new life into the iPod family AND Apple Computers too..
A DOUBLE-HALO effect raising all other boats in their product line!
I hope they do gangbuster business just to stuff it up Billy Gates and Steve Ballmer's controlling little anuses!!!
